The Roadside Vegetation Implementation Project (RVIP) is funded by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust and managed by the Local Government Association and Shires Associations of NSW.
HiCUB helped Guyra, Uralla and Walcha Shire Councils apply for funding through the grant program, and all three applications were successful. This funding was made available:

The Northern Rivers Catchment Action Plan (CAP) was first developed in 2006 to guide natural resource management (NRM) in the Northern Rivers region. The region’s natural resources and community are [...]
The Namoi CMA Upland Wetland Project has been funded through the Federal Government’s Caring for Our Country Program. The project will address threatening processes occurring over 40ha of the Endangered Upland Wetlands of the New England Tablelands. This half day field excursion will enable land holders to develop their understanding of upland wetlands and develop [...]

Recent monitoring of water quality in areas downstream show low levels of oxygen, high levels of [...]
Come along from 5pm, Monday 23 January for the last Black Gully planting of HiCUB. Drinks and nibbles will be provided. RSVP breda@snelcc.org.au or 6772 9123.

The Local Government and Shires Association (LGSA) awards recognise outstanding achievements by NSW Local Government in managing and protecting the environment. The HiCUB project was [...]
The NSW Environmental Trust has granted a three month extension of the HiCUB project. This means that we can now finish projects that have been delayed by some unusually wet weather over the past 18 months to a high standard. The projects that will benefit from this include:
Apsley River and Walcha Woodlands project riparian [...]
This is following up on the first survey, and is extremely important for us to determine the impact of our project over the past seven months. Share with anyone you know in Armidale, Uralla, Walcha or Guyra!
